@variablepulserate from a financial standpoint maybe not the best time of year to be making a large purchase. That said, we’re also playing the “apply for store credit card, get a price break” game.
It’s likely we’ll move in the next year or two, so the appliances just have to last a little longer than that. 😬
@matigo not sure how water got in this part of the dishwasher but no matter. We’ll have a new one in two weeks. Which with all the current labor and supply chain issues is a modern miracle.
@matigo yeah, the control board blew and melted things. Repairing it isn’t much cheaper than simply replacing the entire dishwasher.
Or all the things I would expect to buy on Black Friday, appliances would not be anywhere on my list. But when your dishwasher becomes a fire hazard and you have a microwave that needs replacing…that’s what you do.
