@kdfrawg I'll probably have something a little more substantial seeing as I've only had coffee and cream all day…

it probably happens way more often than we hear about.

I wish we'd stop killing brown people in sandy places.

I've actually had quite a number of active threads on LinkedIn. Sometimes it's salespeople at competitors, but also customers and the like. Engagement overall is higher on LinkedIn than it is, say, on Twitter. Or Facebook.

As usual, your mileage may vary.

@kdfrawg I'd be even happier with 98… or 88, but I'll take my victories where I can get them.

Meanwhile it's the first time I've managed to get six straight days in the green on Sugar Sense (blood sugars in the 70-130 range). Previous record was five, and that was back in January. Any previous readings I had were with a different meter that clearly wasn't accurate.

LinkedIn tells me I've been using it since August 2004. Which is a long time. :P

//

I remember a time when LinkedIn was just a glorified resume and not a social network of any kind. :P

//

sadly social media is officially part of my job now. While I do have to do the odd thing on Facebook from time to time, I can stick to Twitter and LinkedIn (which is, sadly, turning into Facebook for professionals).

I did that with Facebook. I turned off Facebook notifications on my phone long ago, the result being I rarely check it.

@kdfrawg this morning was a 115, just checked it now, it's 127. Would like to get it lower, but I'll take it.
