@matigo my main concern is carbs. The calories are handy too but are not my focus. Good thing I know what has carbs and don't really need an app for that.

@matigo my biggest issue is none of these app have exactly what I eat. Especially when I am outside the U.S. So I take whatever is "close" in the app. It's an inexact science.

@matigo this is why I've mostly given up on TV except for the occasional sportsball.

@matigo given what I weigh, it would probably be dangerous to attempt only 1200 calories a day. That said I should probably be well under 1200 calories per meal, and yes, I have gone over that on just a few occasions.
