That mid-day sun is getting warm. 😬

@jws the same way they broke it to begin with: though some sort of update. Now that I have manual mode once again, I've logged off my account and disabled the WiFi. Permanently.
Givw iFit credit for quickly addressing the issue they created with my NordicTrack treadmill, suddenly requiring an account. I've removed the WiFi configuration and disabled it so no further "improvements" can be made to my experience.‬

@variablepulserate worse, my wife bought the thing. She probably had no idea what we were signing up for either. Needless to say, there's a reason most of my devices are…dumb. By design.
@matigo I've had the thing 18 months. This morning, my daughter went to use it and was like: it wants an account.
Yeah, those idiots updated the firmware and removed the option where you can bypass logging in. There's a special place in hell for companies that do stuff like that.
Happy I have a treadmill today for round two. Unhappy with NordicTrack and iFit for, suddenly, and without prior warning, requiring an account to use a device I paid for 18 months ago. This kind of behavior should be illegal.

My treadmill decided this morning an account was now required to use it 18 months after I purchased it. The outdoors has no such requirement, thankfully.

@matigo I remember one time in high school, they made us run to town and back, which I believe is about a 4 mile round trip. Yeah, that just about killed me. Now, I can easily do twice that (or more) every day.
So, yeah, I'm in a lot better shape now than I've ever been.
