I’ve had passwords I’ve used two decades ago show up in spam. Fortunately those passwords have long since been changed…

The current temporary family law order says I have to reimburse 50% of one trip a month to/from home for my daughter who just started at Washington State.

Meanwhile, the not soon enough ex sends me two receipts for reimbursement. One of the receipts doesn't show a date of travel. The other receipt doesn't even show the date of purchase, much less the date of expected travel, which she clearly redacted.

Same game, different day.

My lawyer asked me to respond to the opposition's claim of "deficiencies" in my discovery responses, then goes completely silent when I submit my extensive list of deficiencies and questions about the opposition's responses. Pretty typical.

keep in mind if the lawyer is billing $300, the law firm they work for is keeping a decent chunk of that.

Of course, at this point, until my divorce is finalized, I'm not even thinking about changing employment for something that makes more money because you can guess who'll demand a share of it…

better me than the lawyers, who easily cost $300/hr.

Lots of time has been spent pouring over discovery responses, addressing so-called deficiencies in my responses, pointing out the obvious deficiencies in my not soon enough ex’s responses, and such.

it wouldn't have been that difficult to, oh I dunno, pay cash at that restaurant?

Funny thing: I never once went to that restaurant in the time I lived there.

One interesting thing I discovered when I reviewed the financial documents the not soon enough ex finally provided was that she went to a restaurant quite near where I was living back in February. Considering it's not where she lives or frequents, I'd say: she was trying to find me.

And my lawyer wonders why I will NOT divulge where I live to her under any circumstances.

She's allegedly tried to apply for several jobs and has not been successful. How hard she's actually tried is debatable.

Meanwhile, she is claiming expenses her provided financial records don't support and I see some interesting charges and deposits from when we were married.
