My divorce lawyer has made one thing abundantly clear: she’s not up to the task at hand. Hopefully the lawyer I have an appointment with on Monday is.
@variablepulserate I joke that my car is a gutless wonder, but it did quite well going from one coast to the other.
Now my not soon enough ex who has delayed providing discovery responses to me wants to push our scheduled mediation date into October. How about no?
@variablepulserate A Prius is a hybrid, so it takes petrol like most other vehicles out there.
@matigo a blessing as one of my major motivations for traveling as much as I did was…my marriage.
I have far less desire to be on the road now.
@variablepulserate I drove my Prius all the way across the country when I moved. It does quite well and gets decent gas mileage.
@variablepulserate for the two major airports near me, yes.
Knoxville’s airport is relatively small a
with flights primarily to local hub cities. It’s the closer of the two at about 75 minutes away.
Nashville is not hub, but it is a destination for many airlines. It’s two hours the opposite direction.
The place I’m going can be driven to in
five hours or so. Further, I get reimbursed for the mileage I put on my personal vehicle. So…it’s kind of a no-brainer.
@matigo It’s within a day’s drive, so no flights needed. Given how many places now fit that criteria, the crap the day job is currently requiring for longer flights, and the airports I have available to me, it might be a while before I see an airplane again. 😬
Another day, another large lump sum payment to my divorce lawyer…followed by a down payment on mediation. Where do they expect all this the money to come from, exactly?
