@matigo to be fair, WhatsApp was big before Facebork bought them. Plenty of alternatives, but as you know, getting people to move off a service en-masse is a bit of a challenge.
Which means, even if Faceborg gives you the Hebejeebes, good luck getting your friends to move off WhatsApp.
@matigo Nope, I don't think I've heard of anyone using Line in North America.
iMessage is pretty big in the US. My family is the only real concern, though. Most of my work contacts use WhatsApp. :P
Kinda want to use this Samsung S8+ as a daily driver. But then, there's the whole iMessage thing…
@kdfrawg there's quite a lot you can determine by looking at traffic patterns that don't involve decrypting the traffic. It's plausible, but not sure about 99% accuracy. And over what period of time?
