Who knew that removing my ex from my car title would result in getting new tags? Not me, apparently.

Oh well, at least the car is registered for another 12 months. And, unlike Washington, Tennessee doesn’t charge you an arm and a leg. It also didn’t require her to sign anything, either.

in Washington State, I paid $80 to renew my license for 6 years. My first license in Tennessee was about $30 and is good for 8 years. The $8 was a “duplicate license” fee.

it’ll be an even bigger smile when I actually get my updated social security card and show my employer. Then they can change my name in their systems.

New Drivers License: $8
New Social Security Card: $0

Finally being rid of a last name I never should have taken in the first place: priceless.

I've found a solution to the payment issue with my ex that satisfies all the terms of the agreement and, more importantly, satisfies me. I consider that…a win.

I did work for Netscape for a few months in 1997. Was interesting, I'll say that.

A piece of history I was a small part of back in October 1997. Worked there, took the photo.

She's fully paid by the agreed-upon dates using an agreed-upon method. What she doesn't like is…it's occurring over multiple payments. Which is…nitpicking.
