@matigo we had an outdoor wedding at a bed and breakfast in Couer d'Alene, which is a bit inland from Seattle. Normally, you can expect 30C+ weather and we had covered areas to deal with the heat of the sun.
Not that July 4th. While we were setting up for the wedding, it started raining and blowing. Tarps had to be acquired for the covered areas to prevent people from getting wet. Also, at some point, the wedding cake was set on a poorly placed table and it ended up on the ground.
By the time the ceremony started, the rain stopped, thankfully. The wedding cake in our wedding pictures ended up being a display cake from a nearby grocery store. Our guests ate remnants of birthday cakes from the grocery store.
Needless to say, our wedding day was quite memorable.
@matigo funny thing is that rain in early July in this part of the world is not that unusual. Ask me how my outdoor July 4th wedding went 20 years ago. :P
@matigo it's definitely raining here. Glad I did my jog in the early morning when it wasn't. :P
