There are far too many religious people who use fear to get you to comply with their exact view of the world.
I sent an email to my lawyer asking what’s holding up the final order in my divorce. Her lawyer, who was supposed to send edits to my lawyer on Monday…didn’t.
Not sure what her game is since we already have a binding agreement and I can’t execute the rest without an order signed by a judge 🤔
@variablepulserate she hates the Southern US, even though she was born in Alabama and had a southern accent. Her moving back to the south would be…a fitting punishment :P
@variablepulserate There are…in high tech…in the Seattle area. It does nothing for the people who live in the more rural parts of Washington State who don’t have those jobs. Or even my ex, who the only way she can afford the mortgage on the house is because I’m paying her alimony. And the alimony number drops pretty substantially in three years.
Oh well, not a problem I have to worry about 😉

Considering it’s $4/gal where I used to live and Washington is set to increase their fuel taxes substantially in 2023 [washingtonpolicy.org], I’m quite happy to be living where I am.
