The latest sponsored ad I saw on the Tweeters was for some new diabeetus drug that causes you to pee out your sugar.
Still think it's better to just not eat the sugar to begin with, but that doesn't make any money for big pharma. Or big food. So you'll never see an ad for it.
@matigo That only gives you a point in time measurement and doesn't tell you if you're developing insulin resistance. Which begets lots of other modern diseases.
@variablepulserate I'm about where I stalled 15 years ago. Which is still about 40 pounds heavier than I'm aiming for.

@matigo of course, I realize that you may not be able to buy a blood glucose meter without a prescription in every country like you can in the US.
