Answering the question George Carlin once asked: “What am I doing in New Jersey?” I’m taking the train to a Lunch and Learn I’m presenting at later.

The view from the Check Point office in New York City is pretty good, especially on a clear morning.

That’s a lot of sushi and sashimi. It was good!

Second “coffee” beer I’ve had tonight, this being the Greenport Harbor Cured n’ Coffee Porter ?

Moved onto the Breakfast Stout, which seems like a much better choice. Remind me not to check my blood sugar later, though. ?

There’s a decent beer place attached to my hotel. Trying the Jolly Pumpkin Noel de Calabaza. A little sour and fruity.

My event went well today. However, had a couple of annoying things happen unrelated:

• Finance decided to require additional paperwork for something I had submitted previously and they previously approved.
• I noticed my travel agent didn't book me a hotel for Thursday night. In New York City.
• Wasn't prepared to be rained on.

Good times.
