@variablepulserate I do have the benefit of having friends who went through a similar experience, so I have an idea of what to expect. I can also see the future past this, which is…very bright.

@matigo and, frankly, neither does Apple.
I can’t move the email for phoneboy.com over to Apple until I can get my family off of it, which won’t happen for a little bit. Given it’s part of a court order at the moment, I’m not going to make any changes until I have to.
@whoisashygirl I've already turned the page, so to speak. It'll never be an entirely clean slate, but it definitely will be a fresh start.
Given the way the courts work in Washington State, I know the finances aren't going to work in my favor for a while. I'll manage, though.
@whoisashygirl don’t feel bad celebrating your own victories. I’ll be fine, even though I know the light at the end of the tunnel I see is my soon-to-be ex running me over financially with the help of Washington State. I’ll get through it and there are some things they can’t take from me.

@matigo that’s a fairly recent addition, as I recall. And yes, I am quite aware of Google discontinuing the “legacy free edition” which impacts a couple domains Email is received on. I had to write about it in legal declarations in my divorce…
Seven weeks into my divorce process and I finally entered my income and expenses into an app to categorize and track where my money is going. No surprise, most of it is going to my soon-to-be ex-wife.
