@matigo that’s a fairly recent addition, as I recall. And yes, I am quite aware of Google discontinuing the “legacy free edition” which impacts a couple domains Email is received on. I had to write about it in legal declarations in my divorce…
Seven weeks into my divorce process and I finally entered my income and expenses into an app to categorize and track where my money is going. No surprise, most of it is going to my soon-to-be ex-wife.
@variablepulserate I am in a less-than-ideal temporary living situation at the moment to boot. It’s going to be a few months before I’m in something a bit more permanent.
@variablepulserate I used to live in Spokane, Washington, which isn’t that far from Moscow, Idaho. And, frankly, wouldn’t be a terrible choice.

Despite my divorce finally settling down to a simmer, I still can’t manage a proper night of sleep on a consistent basis.
@matigo once you get out of the coasts of the US, there are some downright affordable places to live. And besides, I need a change of scenery.
@variablepulserate being a child that came from modest means, I know how to do it. Unlike my soon-to-be ex, who has never been poor a day in her life.

@matigo between what I have to pay to support her and my own relatively modest living expenses, I’m forced to spend more than I’m bringing in on a monthly basis. I have had to eliminate my retirement deduction and I have somewhat of a buffer in savings, but it’s not sustainable long term, at least if I remain in the Pacific Northwest.
And yes, I do have near-term plans to move out of the area. Thankfully, I can complete the divorce process without being here.
