@matigo I’ve at least got them going to different devices at the moment. I may disable it entirely on the work device, haven’t decided yet.
Playing with Mint Mobile on my new iPhone SE, which can active with an eSIM. I've never really had a mobile service independent of what work provided, and now seems like as good a time as any to explore that. Particularly since it'll be a number the soon-to-be ex-wife won't know.
@matigo things are warming up around here, which makes the runs a little more pleasant…even if it is raining. I will be changing locations again in the next several weeks, though.
@matigo between the location change and the weather, I did NOT manage to run every day this year, though I have gone out for a walk on days I didn't. Have been running every day for the last few weeks, though.
@matigo Yeah, that'd be a good reason to get on the Pro Max models. Getting the SE was probably ill-advised at this moment, but I was going to need a new phone here in the very near future.
@matigo the funny thing is, despite the legal and financial challenges, I'm happier now than I have been in quite some time. And these challenges will eventually end.
@matigo I opted to get a 256GB one, of course, which is still cheaper than the 13 mini (what I would have got instead). Also, took advantage of the financing deal by using an Apple Credit Card to pay for it, which itself was an interesting thing to apply for. It was a somewhat necessary evil, given the circumstances.
@matigo It's more or less the same body as the iPhone 8…which is more or less the same as the 6S, yes.
My adventures with Comcast…and this divorce…continue.
Right after I filed for divorce in January, I cancelled the Comcast account. A few days later, the court ordered me to turn it back on. A month ago, the court orders us to pay our own bills and get them in our name.
Comcast…won't allow me to transfer the account to her, she has to open a new one. Problem is: they never cancelled the old one and they gave her new equipment. And she didn't pay the last bill. And yes, I'm on the hook for the unpaid bill and the equipment.
Given she's putting up barriers to me actually visiting the house to get other things, which the court has said I do…yeah, this is gonna be fun.
The size of the iPhone SE is so much more comfortable. Maybe not so much for my eyes, but for holding it and putting it in my pocket? Yeah, massive improvement. The latest A15 processor doesn't hurt, either.
