she’s not going to make this easy. Then again, when you spend 25 years not fighting, everything is a fight.

my living situation is temporary at the moment. Hopefully, in the next few weeks, that’ll be sorted. Then, it’ll be a matter of dealing with the legal machinations, which might take a while.

Things were seriously fucked the first few days and weeks of my divorce . At least you have a place to be, I didn’t even have that. Still don’t, really, but I’m making progress.

it’s ground zero period. Without a bank account you can’t do much of anything.

wow, dude, that's fucked.

In my case, she closed the rest of the accounts but one of the shared accounts (the one my paycheck went into). I used that account to pay the filing fee for the divorce, but haven't used it since.

Hopefully she hasn't frozen your credit like mine did. Made it very difficult to get a bank account until I got it unfrozen. It was a race against time to get a new bank account open and call my employer to get my paycheck deposited into the new account.

Good luck, my friend. Sounds like you're in for a battle.

hopefully she didn’t freeze his credit the way my soon-to-be ex did.

at least in my situation, I was the one who drained the bank account. She cancelled all the credit cards and did a lot of other things…

I feel for ya, though.

In addition to my soon-to-be ex taking my money, the traffic cameras in Federal Way are, too. Fan…fucking…tastic.

I dunno, I've gotten to the point where I rarely install apps on my phones and iPads anymore. In fact, I could probably lose a few and not even notice. :P

the one thing I have is my freedom. Right now it means eating dinner in my car occasionally, but things are gonna get better real soon.
