right now, we're under temporary orders, and the money is called "undifferentiated family support" in addition to paying the kids auto insurance and the home mortgage. My son will be 22 in June and he graduates college in May. The youngest will be 18 in a month, but doesn't graduate high school until June. These orders will be revisited at the end of July.

I could still be on the hook for something related to my daughter (so called post-secondary education support), but I won't know that until it's negotiated…or decided by the courts.

I have a Mini 4 which is doing the same: getting more painful by the day to use. That and the battery ain’t what it used to be.

at least when I was younger and had less money, there wasn't someone waiting to take anything I make and could use the power of law to do it. :P

I never thought I’d be so stressed about money, given the amount of money I make. Then I filed for divorce and had a run-in with the family courts in Washington State. Given what I have to pay to support my soon-to-be ex, I can’t even afford a meager existence, and that’s just the temporary orders. Who knows what the final damage will be.

I know it's ultimately going to be ok. The short term is not going to be fun, though.

yeah, got some stuff to go through still. Things are looking up, though.

The blog post [phoneboy.me] wherein I detail the "work" I am doing to try and separate out the various parts of my life so I don't lose my mind with everything I got going on.

I bought the phone on installments through the Apple Credit Card. Even so, the phone is part of a larger plan to improve my overall sanity.

Between the planned and unplanned expenses, I spent way too much in March. April should hopefully be much better.

Wrath of Khan is still the best Star Trek movie, hands down.
