@matigo try the addition of netplan and cloud-init. And then of course there's dhcpcs, which was the only way I could get IPv6 to pick up the network my router was broadcasting via SLAAC. π
I spent way too much time "fixing" my network today, that's for damn sure.
On the plus side, at least part of it is actually using IPv6 now. On the down side, I will have to revisit some of what I did today again once my new router arrives in a couple days.
And why does Ubuntu have like umpteen different ways to configure networking now?
A disconnected wire from the Lid Lock switch on the washing machine will definitrly cause it to appear to be broken. Thankfully, I figured it out myself. π¬
We replaced the regular DNS Server with a Pi Hole. Let's see if anyone notices.
@matigo I don't think it completely "forgot" it, so I made sure to feed it a bogus password. And, yes, that MAC is blocked now in case it "remembered" the correct password.
I do have a new router on order to replace the current one. At that point, I may make a few other changes. π¬
Found my treadmill had rediscovered the WiFi. π€¬Once I sorted that and realized it was raining outside, I got moving.

@matigo there is one advantage to Israel being on a Sun-Thurs work week: my Fridays are pretty relaxed. Especially right now since I'm not traveling.
