Thought I went a little farther than yesterday… guess not. Oh well, there’s always next time.

@matigo you learn the bare minimum required to make a computer functional. You'll miss a few small things but those are less critical things (usually).
I've (re)built a lot of computers recently.
This song is a bit more poignant under the current circumstances we find ourselves in.

@streakmachine I’m just annoyed I have to run two of them…on the same subnet…because my router either blocks ALL traffic between guest and non-guest WiFi or blocks no traffic.
That means doubling up on DHCP configurations too. 🙄
@streakmachine I just updated to 5.1…and installed a second one on my guest network. Both on old PCs (versus an actual Raspberry Pi).
Working my way back up to longer runs while I’ve also worked up a few extra pounds that I’m pretty sure are muscle, given my waist has not changed at all and I’ve been doing a LOT of pushups lately.

@matigo yeah, I had to install ibus and figure out how it works. A little different than MacOS and even Windows. 🤪
One benefit of being "on vacation" is I don't have to use MacOS or Windows for much of anything. Yeah, I did have to do some Windows stuff on the missus' computer running Windows, but all my "computing" can happen in Linux, and that feels like an increasingly good thing.
